That is funny, but quite likely to happen. She was lucky to get the letter back. Nowadays, hopefully we all use postal codes!! *4U

Mpo, this is funny, just how long did it take you to get it?? I found out a few months ago that if I mail a package in Oregon where I live to another area of Oregon, the package has to go to Seattle, Washington then come back to Oregon to be delivered. Now how crazy is that??? No wonder our postal fees are so HIGH!! Hugs and flowers.

This happened about 9 years ago when I first started to write to my cousins in Germany. It was before I got a computer.She had send some photos and it takes about 5 to 8 days for the mail to get from there to here.. She rang me to see if I had received them and I said no.Next week I rang her- still not arrived.This went on for quite a few weeks.Then she rings me to tell me she had received her letter!It had gone all the way around the world, starting in South Africa.I asked her if she had the right address and she said yes.Then the penny dropped.She had the address right, Adelaide, S.A..........should have been Adelaide, S.A.(South Australia) AUSTRALIA!!!!!
