Here is a good video about how to price your talents with embroidery.

Welcome to Cute. I charge 1.00 per 1000 stitches. But then that does depend on how many stitches. I just finished 6 coats with logo on outer jacket and zip out vest and person's name only on the outer jacket. I charged $170.00 for the job. My customer was quite pleased with the price.

Welcome to Cute and congratulations on your new job. I'm the wrong one to answer your pricing question ~ I seem to never ask enough.

When I gave you a flower I noticed you are new to Cute and I just wanted to say Welcome. Glad to have you and hope to see you often.

Think I'd charge by the hooping first say $5.00 to $8.00 and then charge by design rather than charge $1.00/1000 stitches as some designs have so many stitches you'd be charging yourself out of a job. You might want to see how the store wants to charge since you'll be using their machine/thread?

Congratulations - and they call it work? I would imagine they are paying you a retainer? Some sort of salary. or is the job to do embroidery for their items to sell ie you being a factory hand and they pay a monthly salary?or you to embroider for the public and you charge per item?
