anglemarks3 requested instructions for my tote bay in projects. you need 3 squares 19cm - 1 base outside fabric. 1 lining and 1 pellon 2 30 x 77cm for bag and lining 2 16 x 77cm for pockets

2 35 x 6cm for cassing
2 13 90xcm for drawstring or use rope
Before cutting you need to do embroidery to fit your hoop if embroidering.
The pockets can be 1 cut on the fold or 2 sew and folded. mark 3 lines for corners , then lay pocker on outside bag at bottom and sew down line on pocket joining to bag fold in half and sew sides together.
Pin bag bottom to square base right sides together with pellon on wrong of square. Then do the same with lining.
Place lining inside bag wrong sides facing fold a hem at top and sew together.
iron raw edge down of casing and sew to bag about 6cm down from top. Drawsting fold and sew top strips about 1cm by 90cm.
Feed drawsting through one side and around to the same side and tie a knot you can add a bead if you like. do the same on the other side. When you pull it should close your bag.
