Vroom Vroom, cough, choke, sputter, wheezeeeee well it's all over for a while now. Biketoberfest came and went and those darn yankees forgot and left the door open when they left their homes and

all that cold air ran right down on us! Brrrrr Had to put on chaps, leather jacket, gloves, scarf, 2 shirts. Now those of you up north will probably snicker but this old florida girl doesn't have much heat in her veins anymore except for those that come in flashes! hahahahahaha Had a blast rode around sat and sunday friday was hot and humid. Did main street of course, and got the best chicken in the world (can only get it at biketoberfest once a year!) yum, went to the Iron horse ate good beef (yum) heard some weird band, they went from Pink Floyd to Michael Jackson! and not that well. The lead singer kept gargling everything, water, juice, jagermeister!!!!! My feet hurt, my shingles hurt and I think i'll stay in my jammies all day and sew, wheeeeeeeee. Gonna trade my hairdresser hems on 2 fabrics for a haircut - pretty good deal.

You are brave to tackle the cold. What city did you ride to? Glad to know that some one else trades favors for hair cuts. I just finished another Elvis throw for my hairdresser.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. Everyone needs a break from the daily routine once in a while *

Now this yankee did not leave her door open. It costs too much to heat the house with the door open! Too bad it was cold, but it sounds like you had a great time despite the weather. I would love to be able to barter for things. That would save so much money.

I am so jealous. I haven't had the gumption to get on a bike since my daughter was a baby - wish I had the courage to ride again. Years back I had a Triumph 650. Candy-Apple red. Yummmmyyy!!!

Sounds very exhausting, but a barrel of fun. Jammie-day. I love not having to get dresses some days. I wish my dog would agree. Have a good one

well I am glad to hear you had a great time. I miss the fun we used to have when hubbie had his bike. He gave that up several years ago. Sounds like good fun, good food and I am sure you had lots of friends with you. The trading with the hairdress sounds like a really good deal. Have fun sewing today. Hugs, Mary
