Thanks Glenda, it was a wonderful day spent with all the family. Actually the whole weekend was great. Nice weather, although a bit windy. Happy birthday too for your daughter - she must be a lovely person!!!!! I think all Librans are fairly well balanced actually. My best friend is also one - we get on really well.

Happy Birthday Chris a day late and a dollar short! It was also my aunt's birthday and I missed it also! Her younger sister reminded me but it was too late for me to get her a card or anything else and have it there on time. Betty was 79 and is still working. She owns a beauty shop and she works 4 days a week. Her sister Peggy just turned 76 last month and you would never know she was the age she is either. They are my Dad's sisters and the only 2 siblings left in the family.
I do hope you had a wonderful day. You have so much to look forward to in the next few months I know you must be on a natural high! The picture of your girls was a great pict. of them. They all looked so happy. Actually none of them looked like they were ready to give birth. They were rather small for one of them to be that close to delivery date. They are all pretty but your daughters look just like you to me. Christmas of 2010 is going to be a great time for all of you. Three little ones finding out about Christmas. I can't even imagine such a wonderful family Christmas with all together. I enjoy the step great grands but there is a difference. The baby is the only one that has had me around all his life. The other 2 treat me like company. The grand-daughters by marriage were grown and married(one divorced) when My Son married their Mom. They are sweet girls but they have their real grand-parents. I have found it kind of hard to fit in as family. I keep working at it because they are the only ones I will ever have. My youngest grand-daughter is a bit easier to get close to than the older one. The older one is divorced and having growing pains herself. I am just glad they have such a wonderful Mama. My DIL is a one in a million.
I wish I had known early enough to send you a real Birthday card snail mail but I do hope you know that I think you are one of the nicest people I have ever met, even if it is just online and I hope your day was as wonderful as you are! Linda

Actually my oldest friend who is also called Yvonne (I've known her since we were 9)has her birthday the day before me 9th October. I always ring her to wish her a happy birthday, she lives in Adelaide in South Australia. Her husband has Parkinson's Disease and he isn't 60 yet, cruel isn't it? She reckons one day I'll forget and she'll ring me!

P.S. Got 4 books about Vampires from Trevor and a huge bottle of Bvlgari Pour Femme, a giant wall clock with numbers I can see!!! Ha Ha Ha!!!! - he liked it so much he went back yesterday and got another one!!!!!!!!!
Ben gave me a bag of Darrell Lea licorice and the Marilyn Monroe set of DVD's of her most famous movies, Dana and family gave me a beauty case and Amy and Steve gave me the DVD set of Baz Luhrman's famous movies, eg. Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet etc. etc.
Mum and Dad gave me a beautiful summer nightie in blue (one of my favourite colours) and a lovely CD by Mark Vincent the winner of Australia's Got Talent and a tube of Frangipani hand cream. I did very well. My sister will probably send me something later this week - she lives in Tumby Bay South Australia and has been away.

Hi gals - thanks so much for the lovely Happy Birthday greetings you've sent.

I had a lovely day yesterday with the family and a quiet night with Trevor - he cooked me dinner.

At church this morning I announced that we are now expecting another grandchild - they knew about our son's and elder daughter, but now they know about Amy (our younger daughter - who will be 27 in January 2010)expecting one in April.

All in all a great day and today too - I even bought myself a birthday cake and shared it with my Mum and Dad (bought the rest home) Hmmmmmmm! I wonder who is going to finish it off? Gorgeous sponge with strawberries and cream on it - and you know me! I absolutely love strawberries!
