The companion of my mother was seeing her
yesterday. He phoned me yesterday evening
to tell me he had found she troubled and
confused. So I tried to join a doctor today
(after a dozen calls). The doctors change
every three months... The doctor who is
currently (she's very unpleasant !!!)
told me that the previous doctor had been
too optimistic and does not share his view
...
It turns out that she has hemiplegia on
left members (I knew) but reversible, and
there, I was ignorant, of mental disorders
who are may be reversible with
rehabilitation, but no guarantee!
imagine what state I am after this news!
while the previous doctor had assured me
there would be no psychological sequelae
....and physical rehabilitation should last
at least a year...
it's true that I had a little doubt
such optimism, but I do not think about
that!
I am so sad, I'm crying.... I will
continue to crying and praying...
Sissi
69333 Sissi, please don't give up or give in to all the dr's are saying. Only God has a right to make that decision. Rehabilitation is lengthly, but it is so useful. Hang on to every last ounce of strength, every prayer and to all of the blessings that God, himself, has given..We will all be here to talk to, to pray with and to lean on when needed. Believe me, I know just how hard it is to keep your faith. But I also know that without it, I could have never made it through the last 3 months with Mom. You are strong and tho sometimes we get tired of being strong, God made you that way for a reason. I have faith, not only in God, but also in you...Prayers and many of God's many blessings, Libbie
10139 dear sissie, we will pray with you, hope you can feel our love and support.try to be strong for your mother. hugs and love for you!

1980 Silvie I am so sorry to hear this about your mom, but do continue to be optimistic, wonderfull things can happen when we believe...hugs and much love to you and your mother...Glenda x0x0x0x
15641 Dear sweet Sissi,
It is not news one would like to hear, but
who is to say that this physician is
correct, while the other one was incorrect?
I will pray for you and your mother, and
will pray that she is able to be
rehabilitated quickly.
Hugs and love to you and to your Mother,
Jacqueline

16465 Oh, Sissi, I wish I just could give you a big hug in person now! You and your mother will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love,Yoriko
53902 I am holding you, close your eyes and feel
the warmth of loving arms around you...I
know the loss from recent events....I also
know that the 3 people I have lost in the
last 3 weeks, I will see again sometime
soon......Hold onto that thought and
remember our LORD will always be with them
through everything...He will also hold you
up, little one, have no fear.....When you
think of the Heavenly Father, let him have
your complete control.....when things get
worst, he will carry you, when things are
good, he will walk beside you.....Cry for
the lost ones on this earth that have
passed or are in darkness....rejoice for
those who know JESUS and have passed on or
are passing on....For those are already
taken care of more than either you or I
could ever do.....
Sissi, if you and your mother know the
LORD, then there is absolutely no reason to
be sad...If it comes to the time your
mother is called home, then you can rejoice
and be happy that she will not have to
endure this dying world anymore....Her
reward is waiting on high and you will be
able to relax in that knowledge......It may
seem sad at this time because you are in a
limbo stage, but there is always a blessing
in every situation that arises if you look
for it.....I am here if you need me,
sweetie........deanna
14081 Sylvie, we will be praying for you and your mother - please don't cry.

1450 Sissi, my prayers are for you and your mother. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing this sadness now. When bad things happen, we may not understand, but there is someone greater than us that sees the whole picture, not just the tiny corner of the picture. Please trust that God knows your heart. I wish I could also give you hugs.

56812 Sissi, I know this is hard for you, and if you need to cry to relieve the stress, go ahead. But when you stop crying, think of everything good about this situation. For one, your Mom is still with you, and you didn't at first even have any hope of that, they thought she would not wake up, that she would just pass on. The other doctor may have been too optimistic, but stroke and other brain damage can be an odd thing. Some people recover from horrible damage, some don't ever come back right from what looks like very little damage. You mother had a really bad episode, and it would be understandable that she has good and bad days. It will take her a long time to recover, I'm sure. It's still a miracle that she is alive and aware at all! Of course there's no guarantee, Sylvie, not in this life. Hope and pray for the best, and take the setbacks in stride, at least she is still with you! At her age, it is a miracle. We are always here to listen, and to pray with you! I wish I could be there to give you these hugs in person! Marji

8744 Sylvie, If you cry , you will feel better, just be strong and lean on Our Father in Heaven. I wish I was near so that I could hold you for a moment and hug you. Love Marie
5198 Still praying for your Mum's full
recovery and sending you an Angel to watch
over you both.
Please don't cry, it really solves
nothing and will only make YOU sick.
You need to stay strong and keep your
faith. Doctors will always disagree and the
next one will probably tell you something
different again.
Hugs n blessings, Meganne

Meg, The angel is beautiful and so are your words!!!!!!! I am also sitting here crying for Sissi and her Mom! I too know how hard it is for her to live through this again and again and not know what is going on. You are a wonderful cheering section! You also know the importance of prayer. Hugs
52238 Sissi, You cry your tears and get it out of your system and then go back to your "fight" mode! We all know that the Lord can heal anything and that if we believe and pray and it be His will that your Mom will get better. Sissi, we all think the world of you and we have all prayed for you, your family and your Mom. At her age, you will have have to prepare for the worst and hope and pray to the Lord for the Miracle that He can bring to your lives. I do know how you are hurting and how sad you are right now. Your heart is breaking but you will have to be strong for her. My Mom suffered so long and I was heartbroken when she left me but a calm peace also came to me knowing that she was no longer suffering and that she had gone home to wait on me to join her in her heavenly home. She was just 68. My Dad was only 58 and I was just 27 at the time. I was 44 when Mom left me. There is no easy way to get through any of this. You will just have to trust in the Lord and remember that He knows what is best for all. You have the the greatest prayer warriors right here with you everyday! We love you Sissi, and we think of you as part of our family. We will be there for you at anytime that you need to talk, cry , scream, or Pray; Prayer being the most important. The Heavenly Father will watch over your Mom and you and your family and He will look after all of you. Our Lord is a good Lord and you must believe that! Lots of hugs and alot of prayers are being sent your way, Linda
6898 OOOh Silvie, my heart cries for you and your mother. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Please don't let your head down because that doesn't help. I wish I could be there for you in person and you could lean on my shoulder. Hugs Carla
