I am on color number 5 and have 6 more colors to do but I have to go to bed. I have the Brother PE700. How do I end it? Do I just turn off the machine and start at color number 6 tomorrow,

leaving everything on the machine? ;? TIA ;D

Yep.. just turn it off...since you are not in the middle of a color you can just pick it up tomorrow when you turn the machine back on by doing a thread advance... If you adjusted the lay out before embroidering though it may be a challenge unless you know how you adjusted it...If you were in the middle of the thread stop then just note your stitch count..and pick it back up that way too.

Monica, I have the Janome 300E, and after 15 minutes of no activity, it goes to sleep. The screen turns off, the light turns off, the only way you know it's on is the start/stop button light stays lit. I've been known to just let it 'sleep' while I do, and wake it up the next morning and continue to sew. Of course leave everything hooped, etc. Good luck, I know how it is, when you get too tired mistakes start to happen! Hugs, Marji
