Thought I would share some pictures of our holiday home, in Clanwilliam. It is a 2 hour drive from Cape Town. We just had the whole of the outside, repainted and all the wood work done.
The garage and granny flat was rebuild a
while ago but the shower had not been
tiled, so that was also done now. I also
got them to cut all the palm trees in the
drive way going up to the house.
So it was not a real holiday, this trip,
but still had a lovely time with my MIL and
Grand daughter.

Thanks, yes it is very relaxing, I often take my sewing with me, so when my husband goes fishing, I do my sewing/embroidery work. Hugs Yvonne

Shirlene thanks, when I went on early retirement from the bank , we bought this place, as a holiday/retirement home, and the children also love to go there with there friends.

Yes Marji, when we bought the plot with the granny flat and garage, the tree was there. So my husband did not want it removed, so we built the house and left the tree on the porch. Hugs Yvonne

Thanks, yes we do. And the children also use it as well, we have had it for almost 10 years now
