These programms will help you to convert
wrong file formats in those your machine
will read.
They are free! and for more information you
maybe want to have a look in the software
section, a while ago I posted there some
more infos.
For all oldies: sorry to bother you with
this repeat, but these tips were a
revelation for me when I started machine
embroidery.
First is Ambassador

lsemicro.com/pulse-pro...
Second is Wilcom

/PRODUCTS.a...
Third is EOS

After installing the programm to your
computer you just have to open the design
with it and use the "save as"
menu point, choosing your format from the
list.
18966 Thanks Eva, it also bears repeating that
Bernina's ART format is protected and
you need Bernina software to be able to
convert other formats to ART format.
The digitisers in Designs by Cuties are
purely members here, like everyone else.
They are not employed by, or affiliated
with, this website in any way whatsoever.
So please understand that they may not have
the "Professional" software to be
able to provide their 'gift'
designs in all formats.

1104 That is good advice Eva! When I first came
to this site, I didn't d/l designs
that were not in the format that I needed.
Then I made a file called
'Convert' and d/l the free
programs and have gradually converted all
of those in a different format, to my own
format. So glad that someone (maybe you)
advised me to d/l the free software.
Merci beaucoup;
*4u!

51341 As a newbie I truly appreciate this post update! You are a blessing! Thank you Eva!
2500 Thanks so much, Eva, this always bears repeating! These programs are not hard to use or install. If anyone needs help, just ask, someone will be able to help you use these programs, it's not hard. Hugs, Marji

That is one of the reasons I would NEVER buy a Bernina. (This is not directed at anyone who owns one, of course.) If they can't share, I can't share my $$$.
