Thanks, Monica! I think it's a powerful program, and nothing wrong with it at all. I just couldn't be bothered having to do all my work on line instead of in my computer. What if your internet connection went down, would you lose all your work? Just too cumbersome for me, but the program itself looks good. I wouldn't like the ads, either. Hugs, Marji
28124 Sonje, I'm so pleased you asked about this, it could have been a huge headache for you. Have a look at this software, it isn't free, but it is reasonably priced. Love and hugs sweetie.

13092 Sonje, I'm attaching a link to the developers of the software website. First, it says right on the home page not to download it from the internet, those are not authorized copies and may contain viruses. The only way you can get a free authorized copy is from an associated dealer. I checked the dealers in my country USA and they all wanted $14.99 USD for "shipping and handling", so "free" is not quite free. The program also requires a permanent internet connection, such as cable, dsl, or satellite, because apparently you are working on-line, not on your own computer. The program will also have advertising that you'll see as you digitize. I would think that would be VERY annoying. I don't know how easy the program is to use, but it looks pretty powerful. They also sell a "paid" version, of course. So I would guess that the "free" version would get you to use the program, then when you got so tired of the ads popping up, you'd decide to purchase the paid version. Clever marketing. Personally, no, I wouldn't bother, but then, I have a full paid version of Janome's Digitizer Pro, which I really like. Just remember, "there is no such thing as a free lunch." Very few people can truly offer something 'free' without expecting some kind of return. In this case, they're selling advertising on their 'free' program. The plus side is that it will work on both XP and the dreaded Vista. If you want to bother, look for a dealer in your area. Hugs, Marji
