at most sites just type in card stock and look back in the projects here as there are some very pretty ones that people have made

46153Mary, sometimes the regular embroidery designs can actually be too dense for the paper - have you tried stitching it on material and then glueing the material to the card stock. All the designs that I love to use on my cards - were made for just that and you can find something for card stock on most sites. I would use an extra backing that is heavier than the card stock - if it were a very dense design and you felt that you needed the extra backing so that the stitching didn't break through the card stock. 211078To embroider on cardstock the design has to be made in such a way it does not rip the paper. Those tiny perforations are alright when spaced far enough apart, too dense and you are left with a bit hole. So: card stock designs can be used on anything; embroidery designs can't always be placed on card stock.
