I just bought some the other week at Spotlight and it is called Applique & Embroidery Positioning Spray. Made by Craft Smart.....It cost $14.95 for a 350gram tin...
I suppose it`s the same as 505 they are saying...

Thank you. I asked a couple of sales people at spotlight here in Tamworth but they had no idea what i was on about. then last week i spoke to another and she was great.

As you are across the sea - more than likely will have to go with answers from over there - but I have used 505, Sullivans "The Original Quilt Basting Spray" which is acid free and can be used for more than just my embroidery, and one from HOOP It All "Embroidery Spray Adhesive #ESA, all with great luck. *4U

I have used Craft Smart Quilt Basting Spray ($15.95) with some success. I decided next time that I'd 'mask' the surrounding area with newspaper when I use it. I bought it in Spotlight in Warrambool, Victoria. I don't know if I can get it here in Mount Gambier, South Australia.

I use Sulky KK 2000 Temporary Spray Adhesive. No CFC's or HCFC's; ozone friendly.

Moved, I like "505 Spray and Fix". This is a good question, I will be watching to see others answers. H&*.
