Anyway, these sequins were awesome because they had NO hole in the middle... you attached them to your projects with glue. Perfect fro scrapbooking. So, being the dork that I am, I gave them away a couple of years ago because I thought I'd never use them... then I got involved with embroidery! Oh how STUPID I am... now I can't find where on earth to buy them anymore. I can get REGULAR sequins at Joann's or Michael's, but that's not what I want. Have you girls any suggestions for me?????? I could just shoot myself! :-(

Sue's sparklers only has nail heads, aluminum heads and rhinestones. I gave a boat load of sewing and craft stuff away because I didn't think I woudl ever use it... including my GM's Viking sewing machine that was awesome! Now I could use all of this... oh well, it blessed some people, guess GOD had other plans for the stuff. lol.

Just become a pack rat like the rest of us. My daughter threatens to have a dumpster delivered to my driveway.
102 The only thing I found was this. Can't get my browser to show the pictures though but they sound like what you are describing. http://www.nevtex.co.uk/acatalog/13 ...

Thanks Lillian... I'm just up in arms about them. I'm such a dork-a-rama! xoxo
53769 I found lots of sequins but all have
holes, some have 2. Would flat back
rhinestones work for you. They would give
you the sparkle .
MandJ trimming has some pretty colors.

That's probably the best alternative Bev...I'm just so sad I can't find them anymore. :-(
4873 Wouldn't one of the jewel places carry sequins, too?

Oh no - that is too bad - I will look around - as well - will check back later.
89908 I might think of the wrong thing, but have

has something like that
good luck

Thanks Edith, but these are loose sequins... just no hole in the middle. :-)

If you're using for scrapbooking this won't help but if you don't have to *glue* them on (putting on fabric), sew coming up from back to front thru fabric, thru hole in sequin, thru a seed bead, back down thru hole in sequin thru to back of fabric then on with the next one. Mill Hill seed beads come in gazillion beautiful colors - some more sparkly than others or if you're not doing that many, go with tiny Swarovski crystal beads (awesome sparkle). (p.s. I love how you talk... I speak your language in a big way & often talk to myself or my dogs... "your Mama is being an idiot today but you all know that already huh?" & they all just knowingly look back at me p.p.s. never throw or give away anything related to crafts because somewhere down the line you'll be able to use it for something! When anyone threatens me w/ a dumpster I tell them to stay home :) If I need room I will give up clothing or furniture but never my craft stuff.
