28127 I have 4x4, 5x7 and giga hoop But use the smallest hoop the design let's me use
30450 Monica, when I first got my 1st embroidery - it came with a 4x4 - they didn't tell me I could buy a 5x7 hoop for a long while - then one day - I saw another lady with the same machine and she was using the 5x7 - so I asked - I bought it that day - when I bought my 2nd embroidery machine it was because it came with the 4x4, 5x7, and the 7x11.75 hoops - I loved them all - I use them all - it depends on what I am stitching and what size the design is - I have combined things that would normally be done in the 4x4 with another - to use in the 5x7 so I wouldn't use as much stabilizer - but it depends - I have done that with a 5x7 and a 4x4 and put it in the 7x11.75 hoop - it just depends on the designs that I buy and what I intend to do with them. The good thing is I am not limited to a size, unless the design is bigger than the hoops I have. *4U
96739 I use 4x4 because my Viking Rose will only
do 4x4. But I have a bad case of hoop envy
since it seems like all the designs that I
like require 5x7 or 6x8. Anyone know of an
inexpensive way to get at least 5x7? Until
I do more than my current very small amount
of embroidery, I don't feel I can
really justify spending a lot on a new
machine. My
Rose is extremely expensive per design if I
were to compute that way. LOL

Thanks for sharing. Most will disagree but I got mines from HSN on about 4 monthly payments. I have not had any problems since I had it in 2007 ;D *2U
6039 All I can use is the 4x4 and I have no plans to go larger. Had my share of problems with machine needing worked on, don't want a more expensive one to worry about! LOL. **
19272 I can only do 4x4 now. I'm trying to convince my DH that it is absolutely necessary that I have a machine that can use much larger hoops. He doesn't believe me . . . but I'm putting sewing thread clippings in his food, on his pillow, in his medicine chest . . . maybe he'll get the hint before Christmas.

Sandy, start a thread and we will go brag on what we can do with a 5x7, then let DH read it! We will help you convince him! You are funny!
2018 5 x 7 mostly. Kind of depends on what I am working on. When combineing designs I use the 6 x 10. 4 x 4 I use a lot with dizitizing and then the final is usually made larger.

1385 4x4 as I try not to embroidery anything any larger unless it is something important. I do not like to get too involved unless I really need to! The old gray mare ain't what she used to be! hee hee

593 I like the 4x4 just because it is usually a small design and stitches quick, but have used other sizes for different things, usually I am combining designs for my larger hoops like putting name and designs together.
6461 4x4, 5x7, 6x10. Hard to say which is most. when I'm combining designs I usually need the 6x10. T shirt emblems use a 4x4.
