Hi just wondering if anyone follows
OregonPatchwk site. For me, i just get to
see their email because its always in my
junk box! hehehe. For this designer, its
50% off and I think its pretty gd deal?
I need the design on Satin material (ring
bearer, ring pillow). Will this be ok or
too thick for Satin? TIA!
p.s if u have nice designs for wedding
pillows, pls let me know too. Thank you
1820 I personally think it is, but, if you watch, you will find some that are 75% off. When I get the email, I just click anywhere on the page after I open it and it takes me directly to the website. Lots of good ideas and tips and projects. Good luck! Willie
408 I have bought designs from OPW in the past and would recommend them every time. Also, would recommend any Ace Points designs. I make a lot of ring cushions and would recommend 2 -3 layers of heavy duty stabilizer if you are using finer satin. For heavier Bridal satin, then one layer of tearaway is usually enough.Don't want to go down the teaching my grandmother about eggs road, but always test stitch , especially for something as important as a ring cushion.
10 Eve, those bullion roses are beautiful! If you're using satin, I would use the very heavy satin, what we call 'bridal satin' in the USA. If you use the thinner, softer one, you might have problems. Oregon Patchworks is a very reputable site, and I have never had a problem with a design gotten from there, from any of the designers. If you belong to the newsletter, you can sign in to the site, and there are free designs every month put up by different digitizers. Ace Points has often had designs up to try out. I hope she sees this, but Debbie (debleerl) uses Ace Points designs, I'm pretty sure she said, and loves them. I'm going to add the tag 'tip' to your post, hoping Deb will see it and reply. And for those designs, I believe $15 is a very good price! Good luck, hugs, Marji

1820 I have bought a few of Ace Points designs
and several other designers from Oregon
Patchworks and they all have stitched out
very nicely. They are a great site to deal
with, and if you have any problems as
well

13506 Hi eveve. I have used Ace Point Designs several times and they stitch out beautifully. I agree that you should use a heavier Satin. The price is great for the quality of their designs. Happy stitching!****
2276 I would go to their site & download a freebie to test how their designs stitch out.

21820 I have bought several designs from OregonPatchWk. Don't think I used any of the designers though. I have a friend that has her designs with Oregon Patch.
