Eva, I am not, in any way tring to defend Usman, but as many sites as you go to hunting for free designs, which we all love to get, how can you blame him for what is on your computer? It is not fair to point the finger at him just because you do not approve of how he is doing his designs. Many sites ask for donations with giving freebies. I can name a few of the sites, and they are great sites. No reason to cut thier throats. Everyone was terrified to go to Emb666, also because of the 666, but now everyone goes there without a problem.
If you think a site is not a good one or do not like the way the site is run, don't go there. It's that plain and simple. Yes he can give the design's away. Yes he can ask for a donation. The copyrightts only apply if you charge for the design and that he is not doing. No one says a word about going to the other sites and downloading copyright designs. We all love the freebies. So why is he so different? I have gotten warnings of several bad files and yes, most of them came from very "trusted" embroidery sites. So what gives??? Everyone needs to leave him alone. If you do not want the designs, then don't get them. Simple and easy. But you need to stop cutting his throat because he ask for the same thing that several great embroidery sites ask for to stay up and running.

Just talkig about facts.
I got the trojans at !! cuties. That scared me.
My problem is not the donation thing alone.
If bandwidth would be the problem, a free design could be uploaded easily at the design section and many of the cuties would had given the donation after downloading.
What made me suspicious is a puzzle of many little strange things which gave a picture when assebled.
And the "overkill" was the posting, where our moral OBLIGATION of sharing our immense wealth was DEMANDED. That's what it is all about and Michael Jackson is just a welcomed vehicle. No heirloom flowers, no cute pets: the Hype was offered.
I do not want to start an argue or discussion about this. If you want to trust I surely will and can not prevent this.
But I felt it my obligation to post a warning.

But you posted a warning blaming someone of something that you do not have proof of. Not in any of your post does it say that these things came from his site. That is wrong. As as far as the "Michael Jackson" thing, how many people have profited from the horrible 9-ll incident. As far as demanding, he can't demand anything out of anyone that they do not want to give. You really owe him an apology. If you didn't want to start and arguement about this, then you should not have pointed your finger at someone with your poisioned post with out solid proof. And another thing, There is nothing in your post that affirms that these things came from Cute!!! Nothing. And why are you the only one who recieved these things? Everyone of us have been to his site and to the bookmark seciton and I have nothing. No one else is complaining of malware. Anyone, and I mean anyone, coming to this site could have brought them with them, not knowing that they have them, and that includes you. Like I said, as many sites as you go to, anything you download could have something attached to it and as many as you post here and in the bookmarks, what's to say that they didn't come from you!!! You need to start thinking about what you are saying before you spew out at the mouth. It could come back to bite you.

I was the victim of a hacker attack here at cuties. That is fact. You do not believe it? Have fun with the virus.
You don't have it? Lucky one.
Who brought the malware in? I do not know- Fact is: it occurred while reading the flaming post of us-gentleman. Is he the father? I do not know.
I brought the virus in myself?
Please do not mix up the facts and switch it to its opposite.
I have to start thinking? Back to you.

You are the one doing the acusing. Not at anytime has he acused you of anything. Your post does not even say that your virus came from cute. And like I said, No one, Not the first person here, that have been to the same places you have have the virsu. Just sounds a little funny to me. Things you do not have proof of, should not be pointed out as blame toward anyone. Malware and Virus are two totally different things. Malware comes from any ad on any site. Any AD. All that needs to be done here is that people need to not blame anyone for anything unless they have the ultimate proof and that you do not have.

You can not assume that was him. How can you point at somebody even without knowing him? Shame on you... Are you 100% that he is responsible for the viruses that you found at cute (if any)? You have to be sure first before say something. You should apologize. And if you look carefully you will see that all the cuties that comment under his post at bookmarks have at least 500 flowers (just 1 or 2 that have less), so how do you say they are "new"? Since he started writing on here you have been very rude with him, what is wrong with you? You will find many places where asks for donation but do you know what donation means? is something that you give if you want. I received his designs and I did not pay one penny, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one. I'm sick of this place. It was nice before but not anymore, and is too sad.

There is more to all of that mess than met the eye! Some of you need to look up the definition of donation. He was selling those designs, plain and simple. They may have been worth it to some of you but what he was doing is illegal. I have the downloads waiting on my website but I am afraid to open the email. I do not want my computer to crash and then I would be in a mess. I do not want the designs bad enough to get involved in all that mess. They can sit there until my son gets his stuff over here to check my computer. If it is infected with a virus, we will know exactly where it came from. You see, my son programs computers. He has all the equipment to trace where it came from. All I have to do is let it sit and wait on him to set up his stuff and run a check on my computer.

Thank you, Eva! Sometimes sites can get 'hijacked', like what happened to Yoriko's site a while back. This seems to be easier when you have sites from places which do free hosting, then you have to pay extra for more bandwidth, more features (like Yoriko added the password protection to her alphabet download). It's always wise to be cautious! Have good anit-virus, anti-malware protection! I would also tell Usman personally, incase the problem is that someone hijacked his site. If I were a site owner, I'd surely want to know! The same thing happened to Ferret Lady a while ago, too. I would give Usman the benefit of the doubt, until proven otherwise. But BE CAREFUL out there. Whether he put things on his site or not, they're still there by somebody, and are still malicious!! Once again, this is why I think it's dangerous to go to every site in the world that offers freebies, and direct Cuties there, if the site is not known to you!! Eva, you have the technical capability, and I trust where you lead. Others may not, and are probably spreading viruses like the common cold. This is the reason I dislike all the freebie posting, because I think y'all may be doing more harm than good if you are not as aware and technically savvy as Eva is. Thank you, Eva, for this posting.
