To find files the you don't know where they went. Go to your Start menu and click on "Search" or "Find" depending on your operating system.
Click on "all files and folders"
Where is says "all or part of the file name" type *.zip or the file extention for the design format for example *.jef
Under "look in" select your hard drive(s)
You can narrow it down in "advanced" but try it this way first.
Click search. Give the computer some time to do it's thing, then you will get a window showing the files and location for all the files that meet your criteria.

Leave this window open and open the folder where you want to put the files. Click the file and hold the mouse button down and drag the file to move it to the new folder. If you are dragging to a folder on a different drive this will copy it.
    I hope this helps.

I don't have enough time right now to give a downloading lesson, so check the link to Marji's post in the message below.

I'm so glad you got help. I don't even know where archives is. After I got my software,I took a beginners computer class that was only geared for embroidery. I really helped me. Now if I could just learn to digitize!!!!

Hi and Welcome! Read Marji's post in link below. I'm sure she will help you when she "gets here". She's the guru for sure. But in the meantime, this link should help.

When you download it automatically goes to the last folder you downloaded to, just change where you want it to go before you download. Create a new folder or download to an existing folder. Hope this is what you are asking.

if you know the title you can let your computer search for it ....just go under toolbar under start menu look for search and give the order to look for a file with a name of your design
