Baby Shower Gift Tag Question - I am going to embroider a gift tag for a baby shower, is it OK to put the baby's name on the "To" line or should I put the mother's name?

Thank you all for your comments. I am going to put the Baby's name on the tag. I too think the Mother would like it but I just didn't want to do something not appropriate.

If You know FOR SURE the name of the baby then I would say to use it!!!

I prefer the baby's name. and I suppose the mother will love it to see the name of her new born added!1

I'd do the baby's name, too, as Emily suggested. Mom will probably figure out something cute to do with the tag, maybe as a decoration in the baby's room. Seems funny that in these days you can go to a baby shower and not only know if it's a boy or girl, but the baby's name as well, hee hee hee. In my day, it was a big surprise! I always the babys name..after all once you have a baby you become " so and so mom" :-)
