13189 The sticky sstabilizer trick will work, but sometimes it leaves too much lint for the next project to stick to it very well, but there are always pins!
56807 Great tips! As far as sticking stuff to regular stabilizer it is definitely do-able. I hate using the spray adhesive. It's so messy and gives me a headache. So I use gluesticks made for fabric. Aleenes's Tacky Glue works great. I get it at Joanns when I have a coupon, but it's not very expensive.

3815 As Martine, I re-use Non-adhesive stabilizer by patching it with temporary glue (505) to close the whole and you can reuse your non-stick stabilizer .

6754 I've seen theae tips before, they're very useful. As to your question: you can use a non-adhesive stabilizer and adhere your fabric with pins, by (hand)basting or with a temporary glue like 505. I've added the tag 'tips' so it can be found in that category.
