Two questions are frequently asked: what to do if downloaded files have the wrong format and how to keep an overview of your designs. Here are 4 free downloadable software solutions!

First of all my personal favourite ht tp://www.eos3.com/index.php?en

This is the design browser of EOS.
With drag and drop you can easily sort, rename or delete designs or whole files.
At one glance colour sequence, stitch count and size of the design is shown.

This looks very interesting, all I really want to do is convert files to PES and maybe re size some. You say this is free and that is good, but does it explain how to do these things? I am sooo stupid with these things! Once I downloaded Wilcom truesizer..a big grid came up and I didn't know what to do with it, so I deleted it. I just keep all my files in an emb. folder and read with PED basic. I would like to sort etc. but don't know how. Like I said ..I'm a little slow here. Thanks so much for your time on this site. I don't know what I would have done had I not found it!!

evajungermann I cannot thank-you enough for the information about these downloads. Now I can see my designs on my computer. They are of course one huge file of a mess but being able to view them will make it easyer to organise them eventually.

Thank you Eva. Right now I put the designs not in my format into a folder...or another folder (not very organized either) and tell myself one day I will have enough time to upload them to a site with a free converter then save them to my computer again... in the right file. This is great. I look forward to using it. Mona

And this is the window where you can manipulate the design and if necessary convert with the "Save as" function to other formats.
EOS can read many formats: 10O, CHE, CND, DAT, DS2, DSB, DST, DSZ, ELA, EMN, ERF, EXP, FDR, HUS, JEF, KSM, M3, PAT, PCH, PCS, PEC, PES, PMU, REF, SEW, SHV, STC, STX, T01, TAP, U*, VIP, XXX and ZSK.
And it saves opened files to the following: 10O, DAT, DS2, DSB, DST, DSZ, ERF, EXP, FDR, HUS, JEF, KSM, PEC, PES, SEW, TAP, U, VIP, XXX and ZSK.
A PDF Handbook is downloadable in many different languages!
It is possible to convert more than one file at a time, but this feature is limited to special formats.
So, this is a design browser AND a "truesizer" AND a file converter.
I use it now for 2 weeks and have to learn more about the other features, but I think, this is top.
    and again: FREE.
