Help !! I need some input on digitizing software. I will be purchasing

a package this month and would like to know what your experiences are with the software you use. Can you please tell me what you use, and how you like it ? I will use your inputs to make a better decision on what I will get.

Thanks !!!

Hi mel08. After lots of research, I purchased the Embird 2008 about 2 months ago and it is working very well for me. It`s easy to use and I love it. LaVonda

    Hi !
Besides the Embird 2008, what other additional extras do you have to buy -- or is Embird 2008 complete to actually digitize and have fun? Some software is sneaky in that they make you think that i will be ok and then to actually do anything you need to buy alot of other add-ons.... I am hoping that Embird will by ok.

I have Digitizer Pro by Janome since I have a Janome machine. I like it will enough, but haven't used anything else, so can't compare it. Janome has nice tutorials on their website and my dealer is a Certified Instructor and holds monthly classes. I'm sure there are digitizers here that have used more than one program. I'm sure they will give us some good advice.

I have Husqvarna's 3D Pro and instead of upgrading to 4 D I bought Embird 2008 early December. I love the program, it's easy to use and it's very reasonable priced.

Hi Melo8, I have recently bought Embird 2008 and also Carolyn Keber's Step by Step Tutorial. I find that I am learning to use this program very easily thanks to the tutorial and I will be adding more parts once I have mastered the basic program. It is quite a reasonable price compared to eg HQV software and I have read somewhere that you can more or less achieve the same as using HQV, but I have not got far enough to know that at the moment. Have a look at it on Secrets sight where you also earn points to spend as you with. Ishbel
