...cutting out sugar. Oh yes, this
chocoholic is giving up refined sugar for a
while... I even went to my favorite Jewish
bakery this afternoon and got some lemon
hamantashen. I can't tell you how
much "stuff" I've eaten
today! I would be so embarrassed. lol
I have already warned DH that the next 2
weeks may not be a happy place for me. :-(
27966 I plan to give lots of flowers every day to all you creative people! I don't think I will fail with this new years resolutions either...and maybe loose a few pounds too!
7750 I don't usually make resolutions because I don't stick to them, but this year I resolve to have my Christmas shopping, and sewing projects done by the first week in December so I can enjoy the holiday activities.
5430 don't cut back the sugar suddenly tho... those withdrawls are aweful. allow yourself one sweet per day still or cravings will come too quick and too forceful. My New Years resolutions: 1)Read the Bible DAILY!!! No matter what!! even if only a couple verses. 2) Make it thru school. 3) start exercising again--I have plans on skating every Sunday after Church 4) "Cut back" some on sugars and coffee 5) Praise God for a much better year and let Him guide me.

I started doing that a few years ago, I never to to sleep without reading my Bible, at least some verses, it is great. I will too follow your advise on sugar, I like mostly brown unrefined sugar.
14002 I had so much sugar yesterday!!!! I was feeling like if I was having a hangover, now I know I need to try to stay awy from it..but still have some sweets here..Oh, I need some will power, where can I buy me some? LOL
37705 Well my resolution is I am not sure yet....I am not a sweet eater and prefer a packet of salt and vinegar chips....so I love my salt...will probably take up walking again and go swimming again to strenthen my back........
22584 I don't make new year reslolutions but I do try to learn something new every year
30415 Hi Teri, I cut out processed sugar from my
diet about 12 years ago as I discovered it
was a major cause of my migraines.
Occasionally I will have a sweet,
especially at Christmas time, but mostly I
don't even miss it because the price i
pay for weakness is a totally lost day,
laid up in bed in agony. It's a great
cure for a sweet tooth.
But I don't go without as there are
many really good diabetic products
available and I use liquid sacharine to
make home made sweets, I can't use
aspartame based sweeteners because
aspartame is derived from sugar. I'm
also allergic to milk so can only have
unsweetened Soy. It's a way of life
that i now just accept rather than
suffer.
As for New Year's resolutions, I
don't make any as I consider my whole
life is one huge learning and self
improvement journey, so each day is battle
enough. :-}}
Hugs n blessings and Happy New Year,
