POSTING FREEBIES: There's a tutorial for posting freebies that I think some may have missed. Posting the link inside. Please post freebies under "designs", NOT "general", take "general" out.>>>

http://answers.cuteembroidery.com/1...

Please, when posting freebie stuff, put the post under the Tag "designs", INSTEAD of "general". People will still see it, it won't get shuffled off into limbo somewhere, honest. If you take "general" out and do not use it as a tag, we can sort the "general" category without having to have all the freebie posts in it. Most of the freebie posters are already doing this, but I think some missed the tutorial on it. It would just make life so much easier for some of us, and it's just one click, ok? If you don't understand the tutorial, please contact me and I'll try to explain further, or differently, or whatever it takes. Please also remember the tutorials were written on Veronika's behalf. Thanks so much, Marji

Just remember that the words "General" and "Freebies" don't mix. If you see them at the bottom of your post, the post is probably in the wrong catagory. :)

Why don't they just use the bookmark section? I find lots of the same thing posted here and there. If they just posted in one place we could find more tips and suggestions on embroidery in the community section.

You are right honey, people do not pay attention and then they send me ugly email's telling me not to post on designs, when I am just following your directions, that is why I do not worry anymore, if you just want to go to"general" then just click general...***Thanks for this posting and tutorial.

I like to read all the post,I just don't go to every site to get the freebies, I like the way they are posted so I don't have to skip around.I don't see what all the fuss is about.I thinke when you pay to join you should be able to post where you like.I agree with alpa man

I meant to type, then they no one would have to worry about getting yelled at because the didn't follow your tutorials.

Sorry for the typos, but I want my message understood.

Hello, It does get very confussing when you go to general and have to read thru all freebies to find the respective subject. I read the tutorial when first came in and it was ver clear to me where the freebies should be posted. Hope this can be solved, as sometimes we do not have a lot of time and want to do the most out of it. Thanks and Hugs!

I am answering this to bring it back up to the top. I do at times look at free designs and have learned about new sites (including this one) from such postings and I thank those who list them. But I more often wish to talk about embroidery computers and life and find it difficult and very time consuming to sort through lists of freebies.

I'm beinging this to the top again, because Shirlene's question got brought back up. If EVERYONE could use this system, the freebies wouldn't be such a problem. Please, please, please read thru the tutorial, and if you don't understand, contact me and I will help you. Once again, these were written with Veronika's blessing, because I write better tutorials (hee hee hee, that's a joke). But they were seriously written for Veronika, so it's not just 'me' taking over here, ok? Love you all, Marji

Please, please, pretty please? When posting about free designs, put it in the "designs" category, not in "general" category. It would just help so much, I and others as well just don't have time to go thru 5 pages of freebie posts every day to find real questions. Please? This really isn't hard to do, if the instructions aren't clear, please ask or PM me, I'll help you!! Thanks, Marji

You are so right, I posted this in the answers of some cuties, but it is too much to go in all the questions. When I welcome new visitors on the site I ask directly to read the articles you have written under the tab "tutorials" so they can learn about using the site, hope this helps a little bit.
