In reference to site voting. Are there specific rules on link placement. I think a lot of people are so excited or hurried to download, they don't even see the link. If you do not need any of the
current free designs, it is easy to forget, because you still need to go into one of the design links to access it. Some people may come to read messages and not even think about it, free designs are only a small part of this site. Would it be possible to put an extra voting site link on the home page, maybe between the freebie applique and cross stitch links. This would make it easier to remember. Many of us get on task, and have senior moments. If this would offend people, they are probably not real "Cuties" and most likely don't vote anyway. It is shocking that more do not vote, considering the number who are on the site. Maybe some are afraid to enter the voting site, or do not realize its purpose. I actually don't even know its true purpose. The current top site has a lot more people on it for obvious reasons, so a greater percent of those here must participate, but this a real community, and the other is not.
1025 Clawton mentioned not seeing a place to vote on the first place site. I looked all over that site, and I could not find a place either. Is is possible that they have an automatic system like Clawton suggested. The person who runs that site is extremely knowledgeable about computer systems; an actual professional I believe.
1025 I agree with you, I always try to remember to vote, but it surely should be posted somewhere else than on the free designs only, for those that have membership It is easy to forget because you don't really worry about grabing the freebies so if in a hurry you miss the voting.

1789 Voting is done each day on this site only. I do visit the first place site but have never placed a vote there or seen a place to vote. It is my opinion that the votes are done automatically somehow on that site, maybe when enter the site or when downloading a design???????

Also, a good time to be sure to vote is when you see the +1 by your log on. That way you know that 24 hours has passed. (I understand that it can only be done once in a 24 hr. period)

29887 My routine is the get the new Letter in the alpha, and then vote, then make a comment. I think it is important to vote, I think it would give Veronika the knowledge that she is #1, to the public, it says that first place is the best! We may know Cute is the best site, but do we show our support if we don't vote? She doesn't ask much, & she may not even ask at all, but thats the least we can do.

56717 I don't always download the free designs. Sometimes I just come to the Q&A part, and to take a look at the projects. So often I forget to vote. :-( Perhaps, if the voting link were on the home page, I'd do better. (Maybe this could be suggested on the "community-suggestion" page (tab is above).
