1317 we send flowers by clicking on a green flower and it will turn orange in community and then you have given a flower. In projects it is click a orange flower and it turns grey. Next to your name shows how many flowers you have, you have 235 right now.Letvia organizes how we vote so we can be organized and eveyone then has a better chance of getting the designs they want. I hope this helps and just remember that there are always lots of cuties here to help,so ask away! *4u

40465 Hello cricket it is nice to see someone from my neck of the woods. I live in Hawkestone between Barrie and Orillia. My daughter lives in Newmarket. I have a Janome 350 E. This is a great site the earlier answer tells all. Flowers are just a nice thing to give and receive. You post projects in the section and we all give comments and more flowers. We are a big family here nice people all over. Usually Letvia lets us know whos voting who. Raels keeps us updated on birthdays and where everyone is from. There are girls digitizing here and much info if asked. The family helps all those who ask. Have fun and heres a flower for you. If you would like my email let me know and I will send it private. Happy stitching Lisa

Lisa thanks of course I do know Barrie but do not know Hawkstone... where does your daughter live in Newmarket? I live off Bayview and North of St. Johns side road in the St. Andrews Golf Course...have a Janome 11000 and love it.
8017 When I first visited the site I thought
voting for a design was a way of saying: I
like it, as it is in projects and
community. But now I know better, has known
for quite a time now, so that now I vote
for designs someone requests and since
Letvia streamlined the voting it is quite
easy (she moving house at the moment and
dearly missed).
In the community section you can see a row
of topics, they are nice shortcuts to
specific questions, as are the tags to the
left. "Flowers" might have some
answers; "voting-requests" gives
you only those, so as soon as Letvia is
back you can find them there;
"software" has some info about
just that: resizing, reformatting,
different software programs. To name just a
few. Play around a bit and before you know
it you mind find your way around here
easily. Flower for you.

I think you areright playing around is going to be the only way I get IT...but all the help is wonderful and how nice to have a community of help at your finger tips...when you are bright enough to know how to use it all..........hugs Cricket17
42383 Welcome cricket 17, I had to take a basic computer course pertaining to sewing before I could take my software class. We learned to make folders, about right click and left click. How to drag. how to down load designs and use a memory stick, and stuff like that. I didn't even have a computer. My sweetie had several old laptops setting around and I convinced him I really needed to borrow one. Don't feel bad, I have already asked all the stupid questions. I still can't follow instructions when they into computer lingo.

10085 Cricket, You have your right answers. Stick around you can learn from our other friends. Hugs and flowers.
10802 It was confusing at first to me too. But eventually you get the hang of it. Stick with it. It's worth it. It's fun to both give and receive flowers. You are at 239 as I type this. Before you know it, that number will grow! And it will become 240 as I send you another by clicking the green flower....
4662 to give a flower all you need to do is
point the cursor at the green flower/star
shape in the top right hand corner of your
message and click - it will change colour.
You can give a flower to anyone you wish.
You don't have to it is your choice
but us cutes just love giving them. The
number underneath your picture/avitar will
change also - you will see the increase
next time you visit. You are awarded
flowers each time you visit.
If you click on community at the top right
of the page it will take you straight to
the list of posts. Scroll down to view the
different topics by members.
If the click on projects it will take you
to all the different things that cutes have
made and where they have posted their
pictures.
You'll soon find your way around if
you click on all the headings and see what
is there
Hope this helps Jo
