I am looking at possibly improving the software I have now, but need help deciding which one to go with. More inside....

I am just starting out with digitizing, but I have had PE Design 4.0 for quite a few years. I have really only started using it consistently for the last few months. Should I upgrade this software or change to another brand? How does Embird compare to PE Design? (4.0, not newer versions) I don't want to spend a fortune right now as I am learning. Eventually, if I get good at this, I might want to get one of the professional programs, but that is for the future. For now, what software do you recommend? (I have a Brother machine)

My best suggestion would be to enter the words 'digitising' or 'software' or 'programs', or any relative words you can think of, into the seach bar at the top of the page here and then you will be able to read all the previous answers posted on this subject. For my money, it's Embird all the way and I DO have a professional software, made by Pulse, which I find far too user UNfriendly. hugs n roses, M
